Brent Jackson’s Leadership Elevating Neighborhood Unity

In 2017, under Jackson’s lead, the United Neighborhoods of Evansville hosted the Regional Neighborhood Network Conference. A 3-day conference at the Old National Events Plaza. An event that hosted 300 participants from over 15 cities across 4 Midwest States. You can read more about that conference here.

In 2017 as President of UNOE, Jackson helped to lead the charge on updating the United Neighborhoods of Evansville logo. What do you think?

Building Stronger Neighborhoods with Visionary Efforts

In 2018, Jackson and UNOE moved it’s offices from the Hulman Building on Sycamore Street to the EVPL Annex on Cherry and MLK Jr. Blvd. A move that required diligence, foresight, and extensive planning. Planning and foresight for the needs of the United Neighborhoods of Evansville organization to help neighborhoods into the next generation.

UNOE Contributions and Community Impact

Over the decades, Brent Jackson’s dedicated volunteer efforts and leadership roles within community highlights his commitment to community growth.

Under Brent’s guidance, UNOE’s digital transformation over the last decade has enhanced neighborhood engagement and accessibility. Under Brent’s leadership he has driven meaningful progress such as the launch of a new and innovative UNOE website that he developed in 2014 in a WordPress format.

Also in 2014 Jackson introduced a new mapping method for neighborhoods. A method that crosses multiple mapping platforms (such as GIS & JSON mapping protocols).
